Year after year an idea of city break is becoming more popular between Polish travelers. Right now, we like to travel much more then only for summer holidays. That’s why, if long weekend is arriving, we can use that fate to visit any nice metropolis in Europe.
Which place is worth to be seen?
Amsterdam
The capital of Holland is very famous right now, especially when plenty of Polish citizens transferred there for labor. Amsterdam is really amazing city, with pretty landscape and plenty of extraordinary monuments. In there you will have a chance to go to Red Light District, which is totally legal in that country. In there you may observe beautiful women siting by the glass and waiting for new customers. Another nice spot to see will be Rijskmuseum, one of the biggest art gallery in whole planet. It is popular mostly thanks to Dutch geniuses, like Rembrandt, van Eyck or also Bosch. If you’re fascinated by history you should not miss a tour to Ann Frank’s Home. It’s a place, where this small girl used to hide from Nazis in time of last war. But even simple walk trough the old part of an Amsterdam will be amazing experience. Entire city is filled with nice bridges, situated above the river.

Budapest

Another interesting metropolis in to travel to will be Budapest. That Hungarian place is packed with amazing architecture, constructed in plenty different styles. At start you have to for a tour to the old town, with beautiful Royal Castle placed on a big mountain.
It used to be a main house of Hungarian kings, now most of the rooms are opened for visitors. Next great building in that area of city is Fisherman Tower, great instance of Romanesque Revival epoque.
